Radio · one way
The remote or a wireless wall switch sends a radio signal to the motor. Simple and reliable, and the most common system in homes. Add a TaHoma Switch for app and voice control.

Two-way radio: Glydea ULTRA Zigbee motors report their position, so apps, hubs and voice assistants show the real status. Works with the TaHoma Switch.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which system my motor uses?
Look at the motor's name or part number: RTS motors say RTS, DCT motors are dry contact, Wired motors have no plug, and Zigbee motors say Zigbee (or have the Zigbee module). The Drapery Motors FAQ lists every part number.
Will an RTS remote work with a Zigbee motor?
No. RTS controls work only with RTS motors, Zigbee controls only with Zigbee motors. The same goes for SDN, Wired and Dry Contact.
Can one remote control several draperies?
Yes. Pair several motors to one channel and they move together. A 5-channel remote (Situo 5, Ysia 5) controls up to 5 draperies or groups separately.
Do wireless wall switches need wiring?
No. The DecoFlex, Smoove and DecoFlex WireFree Zigbee switches run on a battery and stick to the wall or sit on a mud ring; nothing goes into the wall. Only the SDN keypads, the 120V paddle switches and the dry-contact switch are wired.
Smoove or DecoFlex: what's the difference?
Both are RTS wireless wall switches. Smoove is a slim surface-mount touch switch with 1 or 4 channels. DecoFlex looks like a standard in-wall switch, with channel buttons and up / down / stop, in 1 or 5 channels.
Momentary or maintained paddle switch?
A momentary switch runs the motor only while you hold the paddle. A maintained switch clicks and stays on until the motor reaches its limit or you click it back. Both are for Glydea ULTRA Wired motors on 120V, installed by an electrician.
Which switch do I need for a DCT motor?
The Dry Contact Open / Close / Stop wall switch, wired to the motor's RJ12 input with low-voltage cable. Home automation systems use the same input.
What do the SDN keypads need?
Motors on a Somfy Digital Network (each with the RS485 (SDN) module) and the SDN bus wiring, which powers the keypad. The keypads talk to the motors directly, with no central controller.
Can I control my draperies from my phone?
