Which control system do you have?

    The remote or a wireless wall switch sends a radio signal to the motor. Simple and reliable, and the most common system in homes. Add a TaHoma Switch for app and voice control.

What's the difference between a drapery track and a drapery motor?

A drapery track is the complete system for a new window: the track cut to your width with the motor and carriers. A motor on its own replaces or upgrades the motor of an existing Somfy track.

RTS or Zigbee: which should I choose?

RTS is one-way radio: simple, reliable, and it works with the widest choice of remotes and wall switches. Zigbee is two-way on Glydea ULTRA motors: the motor reports its position, so apps, hubs and voice assistants always show the real status.

Will my remote work with any Somfy motor?

Only with motors of the same system: RTS remotes and switches control RTS motors, and Zigbee remotes and switches control Zigbee motors.

Do I need a hub to control my draperies from my phone?

Yes, a Somfy TaHoma Switch. It connects RTS and Zigbee motors to the TaHoma app, Alexa and Google Home. Apple Home works with select Zigbee motors.

Do Somfy drapery motors have a warranty?

Yes, Somfy drapery motors come with a 5-year warranty.
