Somfy RTS
Radio · one way
The remote or a wireless wall switch sends a radio signal to the motor. Simple and reliable, and the most common system in homes. Add a TaHoma Switch for app and voice control.

Radio · two way
Two-way radio: Glydea ULTRA Zigbee motors report their position, so apps, hubs and voice assistants show the real status. Works with the TaHoma Switch.

Wired
Hard-wired 120V
A Somfy 120V wall switch is wired straight to a Glydea ULTRA Wired motor. No radio, no batteries. Needs an electrician.

Low-voltage control
A home automation system or keypad controls the motor through a low-voltage cable (RJ12). The usual choice for Control4, Crestron and similar systems.

Read the part number on the motor's label. Glydea ULTRA 35: RTS 1246116, DCT 1246115, Wired 1003153. Glydea ULTRA 60: RTS 1246118, DCT 1246117, Wired 1003160. Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree Zigbee: 1246594. Irismo 35 Mini DC: RTS 1003004, DCT 1003003. Irismo 45 WireFree RTS: 1002353.
Can I switch a motor to Zigbee or SDN?
Yes, with a plug-in module: the Zigbee module fits Glydea ULTRA DCT motors; the RS485 (SDN) module for Glydea ULTRA fits Glydea ULTRA RTS and DCT motors; the RS485 (SDN) module for Irismo 35 fits the Irismo 35 DCT. Wired motors and WireFree motors don't take a module.
Glydea ULTRA 35 or 60: what's the difference?
The 35 moves draperies up to 77 lbs on tracks up to 32 ft; the 60 up to 132 lbs on tracks up to 36 ft. Both run under 38 dBA in silent mode.
Does the Irismo 35 need a power supply?
It runs on 24V DC, and the adapter is included. It plugs into a wall outlet with a 13.2 ft cord.
How do I charge a WireFree motor?
The Irismo 45 charges with its plug-in charger, and its battery can be replaced. The Glydea ULTRA 50 charges over USB-C and reaches 80% in under 4 hours.
What do I need for a Wired motor?
A Somfy 120V wall switch (momentary or maintained), wired to the motor by an electrician. Wired motors have a 5 ft cable without a plug.
How quiet are the motors?
Glydea ULTRA 35 and 60: under 38 dBA in silent mode. Glydea ULTRA 50 WireFree: under 32 dBA. Irismo motors: under 44 dBA.
