The Kirsch 1 3/8" Designer Metals Swivel Socket is an adjustable, hinged elbow connector used to join two separate drapery rods together at an angle. Engineered exclusively for 1 3/8" diameter non-telescoping poles within the Kirsch Designer Metals Collection, this functional accent is the primary architectural solution for creating seamless custom installations on corner or bay windows.

Functional Design Highlights

Mandatory Support Brackets: You must position a wall support bracket on both sides of the swivel socket, ideally within a few inches of the joint. Unbracketed elbow joints will sag under the horizontal tension and vertical weight of your drapery panels.

Fabric Ring Movement Limitations: Standard closed drapery rings cannot slide across or pass over a swivel socket joint. If your treatment layout requires the fabric to draw across the corner angles, you must design your system with Bypass Brackets and Bypass C-Rings instead.

Seamless Installation Fitting: The socket features two male insert barrels that press directly inside your hollow rod ends, leaving only the small, matching decorative knuckle pivot exposed on your wall.
